Great update today because EventChain has partnered with Decentralized Exchanges EtherDelta by EtherBoost, RadarRelay and IDEX.Markets in order to provide more liquidity for EventChain Token holders! Let’s break down the three decentralized exchanges where EventChain is already listed:
Through EventChain’s partnership with EtherDelta, EVC tokens will be available to purchase with other ERC-20 tokens.
EtherDelta is brought to your by EtherBoost, a popular decentralized exchange dominating the cryptocurrency market. EtherDelta are leading the decentralized exchange (DEX) movement alongside 0x, RadarRelay, Kyber.Network, Omega. One and others. EtherDelta currently has only one trading fee, the 0.3% taker fee. Deposit, withdraw, and maker transactions are all free.
IDEX is the only Ethereum Decentralized exchange with real-time trading. It supports market orders, instant order books, and instant gas-free cancels. Not only does it support MetaMask, but also the ledger nano or an encrypted private key logon. It already supports 200 different ERC20 tokens including EventChain EVC tokens.
Radar helps you find and transfer any token fluidly. They never hold any of your tokens and you don’t need new accounts or signups. Use MetaMask to buy and sell EVC tokens. It uses something called Wrapped ETH (WETH) To easily make trades between ERC20 tokens and uses the 0x (ZRX) protocol as a foundation so ZRX is used to pay for transaction fees. The platform current has zero transaction fees for trading! Radar is starting with a 0.45% maker fee and a 0.7% taker fee, but there are no other hidden fees for trading or withdrawals.
These decentralized exchanges were created to address centralized exchange vulnerabilities including theft of users funds the trust issue between exchange owners and traders. decentralized exchanges do not rely on a third party service to hold the customer’s funds. Instead, trades occur directly between users (peer to peer) through an automated process. There’s no requirement to trust the security of the exchange since the funds are always held in your personal wallet and not by a third party. When you trade EVC tokens through Decentralized Exchanges, you will always maintain control of the private keys to your tokens, with no counterparty risk.
Update on MORE exchanges: There are higher volume centralized exchanges where EventChain EVC will also be listed. One has had the payment finalized and we are waiting on them for the timeframe, and two are just in the other finalization process. Some of the bigger exchanges have been a bit greedy and increase the prices during the negotiation with little leeway to move. We will keep working on getting listed on a major exchange while we also focus on further development.
