Throughout the holidays, the development team, the leadership team, the advisors and I have been working consistently on growing all aspects of EventChain. Together, we have expanded the functionality of EventChain SmartTickets by redesigning the UI and UX for easy navigation and mass adoption. In addition, we created vendor profiles so artists and vendors can personalize and manage their events exclusively to create event tickets.
All of these features have been bundled into a new Alpha 2.0 with more artist and vendor event management features in a user friendly and simple to navigate app. See the new layout and try the Alpha at
http://alpha.eventchain.io (Beta is now available at https://beta.eventchain.io).
This is an eye popping improvement upon our original Dapp. You can still read about our initial EventChain Alpha release blog post which premiered in August 2017 that introduced our fundamental architecture with three primary layers of technology: the Dapp frontend, web2 sidechain and web3 backend where users can bypass the web2 services completely and interact directly with EventChain’s smart contracts. These features will integrate into the Alpha 2.0 alongside other payment methods in the Beta which will be released in Q1 of 2018.
To ensure that we are on track for the release of our Beta, we have continued to build our development team. Currently our team has 14 members and we will add more if needed to meet all future roadmap deadlines.
